Founded in 2007, Danish brand GAI+LISVA offers thoughtful designs that are meant to be cherished and worn again and again.
Founded and led by women, they want to make GAI+LISVA a tool for creating meaningful change – both for the women who wear our clothes and the women who produce them. Therefore, they aim to take into account both the environment and the reality of women, as these two things are connected.

In all of their products and supply chain, they proactively work to put women at the center by enabling, supporting and elevating their role in the journey through fair practices, respectful relationships and considered decisions that point towards a better future.
Their "Our" production and supply chain is central to their mission. They continuously strive to work with production facilities that are managed and/or operated by women as well as production facilities in Europe that are close to home. It is a journey with multiple challenges, but one that they are committed to undertake in order to empower and uplift women globally.
It is important to us to have strong and respectful relationships throughout our supply chain, and they work to maintain stability, safety and good working environments through Code of Conducts, audits and risk assessments.
All clothing has an impact on the world, and it takes resources, time and thought to create meaningful, long-lasting products.
To ensure that the clothes GAI+LISVA makes are loved and used for as long as possible, they have embarked on a journey towards a more circular system by creating a resale platform where used clothes are sold at a reduced price.
This ensures an extended life for each garment and minimizes the footprint of each design. In addition, they have created a thorough guide for anyone who wants to take better care of their clothes - which ensures a longer life for every single product they put into this world.
For GAI+LISVA it is important that there is growth for raw materials and the creation of textiles has a great influence on local ecosystems and our climate. They believe in working with long-lasting natural fibers and low-impact materials.
GAI+LISVA is continuously working to reduce the use of plastic-based fibers and increase the use of certified, natural monofibres. This is a long-term process and commitment that requires continuous curiosity, close partnerships and thoughtful innovation.
For this reason, they have created a plan and a system how to approach textiles and materials, to always ensure that they know which fibers to use and which to improve.
And most importantly, they are always guided by a belief that it is our design that gives each individual material a long and cherishing life.
